Got lucky though, having been published in Likhaan 2008: The Journal of Philippine Contemporary Literature (UP Centennial Edition), ANI: The Philippine Literary Yearbook (Volume 35: The Pinoy as Asian) (Cultural Center of the Philippines), Literary Apprentice 2009 (Vibal Foundation & UP Writers Club), The Philippine Star ("If My Life Were a Book" weekly winner), Literary Apprentice Lite, and Bulawan Online, among others.
Was a Fellow for English Creative Nonfiction in the 48th Dumaguete National Writers' Workshop and the 9th UST National Writers' Workshop and for Filipino Poetry in the 9th IYAS Creative Writing Workshop and the 2007 LIRA Poetry Clinic.
Became a member of LIRA (Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika, at Anyo / Center for Image, Rhetoric, and Form) in February 2008; became its President the following year. Co-founded the Dapitdilim Fellowship of Writers (a play on the place names "Dapitan" and "Diliman"; Nightfall) in September 2008. Became a member of UMPIL (Writers Union of the Philippines) in August 2008.
Has regularly written for over 30 websites (not including his own) such as: Performancing, one of the top resources for bloggers and Internet writers; Gadzooki, a site for video games, gadgets, cars, and all things geeky; Blog Tutorials, a popular resource for new and veteran bloggers alike; and Basketball Exchange Philippines, a popular hoops site already featured on ABC-5. Wrote for the 18 blogs comprising MMORPG Source, a collection of sites for the most popular multiplayer online video games of today. Helped review websites at the popular EatonWeb directory. Currently serving as writer-researcher for the Philippine Veteran Affairs Office of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Was the editor for Splashpress Media's three websites: EatonWeb, the Net's oldest blog directory, and the duo of Blog Network Watch and Blogger Jobs. In college, was the Editor-in-Chief of The UP Parser, the official student publication of UP Diliman's Department of Computer Science, and was the News and Literary Editor (at different times) of The Engineering Logscript, the official student publication of the College of Engineering.
Served as Overall Project Coordinator of the ten-edition Sining ng Tugma at Sukat (STS; Art of Rhyme and Meter) held by LIRA and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts in 2008. Also served as Coordinator for three STS legs at Dagupan, Pangasinan; Mauban, Quezon; and Subic, Zambales. Served as a Staffer for the 48th UP National Writers Workshop in 2009. Handled the UP Diliman leg of the PC Buyer’s Guide ICT Roadshow 2005 as Project Manager.
Bought a second-hand DSLR in late 2008 to document literary events, but his photography has served other purposes since then. Was commissioned to photograph the artists of the Pitik-Bulag: Letra at Liwanag book project of the GSIS, the 48th UP National Writers Workshop, and the tribute to National Artist for Literature Virgilio S. Almario in San Miguel, Bulacan by the UP ICW. Photos have been published in the book Pitik-Bulag: Letra at Liwanag and the magazines Balikbayan, Bookwatch, and Bulawan Online.
Was the Website Manager of Skryer, a paid video gaming guides site with over a thousand international subscribers. Was the Project Manager of Toronto-based Enthropia's LoadedWeb project, in which around 15 websites were produced and marketed.
Helps run Bulawan Online, a premier literary journal edited by Rio Alma, as a staffer. Is the webmaster of Umpil.org, the official website of the largest organization of Filipino writers in the country; RioAlma.com, the official website of National Artist for Literature Virgilio S. Almario; and LIRA Online. Is the co-owner of Article Crux, a library with over 25,000 articles with 3,000 authors, and the now-defunct Komiks.ph, a popular portal for Filipino comics lovers. Maintains the Kimpo.ph online family portal. Publishes ten websites under the Corsarius.net domain, including his writing blog, pseudo-tech blog, Tagalog blog, and aircraft miniatures blog.
Avid collector of scale models (toys that aren't) since December 2006. Was interviewed by Nancy Castiglione on the November 18, 2007 episode of At Your Pleasure, Nancy (Makisig Channel). Collection currently consists of 26 civilian airplanes, 13 war aircraft, 28 automobiles, 3 trains, 5 tanks, 3 warships, 6 sci-fi vehicles, and 5 miscellaneous figures.
